“I go through 2 roadblocks to get to work every day since the MCO. I tell the police that I work in agriculture and that I have to get to the farm. They tell me to be careful. I watch and read a lot about the Corona virus but I’m not scared about coming to work because I only travel to and from work.
Work is different now because there are fewer workers at the farm, so there are more things to do. We also usually harvest the veggies in big batches to deliver to restaurants. But now restaurants are taking less and we are harvesting for consumers instead. My friends are staying home at this time. I sometimes wish I could stay home instead, but I don’t regret my choice of work, it is what it is.
Actually I feel a little proud to be in agriculture because food is something everybody needs.
“When I hear about supply interruption, I feel lucky that in hard conditions, we can still plant and grow food.”

Look at it, it’s so good quality too. I want people to know not to waste your veggies or your food. Appreciate everything that you get because people work hard to grow them.”
My favourite veggie: Steamed broccoli.
