We are proudly certified with Good Agricultural Practices by the Ministry of Agriculture. This means that our farm and farming have passed rigorous health, hygiene, and environmental tests!
1. Low Pesticide levels – That’s easy, we use NONE.
2. Traceable operations
3. Farmers with good hygiene
4. Sustainable planting
5. Daily washing of equipment
6. Hygienic waste management
7. No water contamination
8. Non-GMO seeds with a traceable source
We were honoured to have Mr. Nazri, head of Department of Agriculture, Klang to present us with the MyGap certificate. We took him for a tour of the farm where he got to taste some of our produce.
We were told that Cultiveat is the first farm in Klang to receive the MyGap cert in 2020!
Update: We’re proud to announce that our tomato farm has followed in the steps of our leafy greens farm, attaining the myGAP certification!
After stringent tests for health, hygiene, and environmental indicators, our tomato farm is proven to use low pesticide levels (none, in fact!) and sustainable planting, along with with hygienic and traceable practices.
Our deepest gratitude goes to the Department of Agriculture, Klang, and in particular Encik Nazri, head of department for being instrumental in the success of our farms in Kapar.
